Meet The Staff -> Carrie

"Village Vet, this is Carrie, I can help you!" Carrie has been a receptionist at Village Vet since March of 2010. She has been married to Chris, her husband of 12 years. Their children are Christopher, Cayden and Carly.

Their pets include 5 squirrels, a miniature pony, and a Border Collie named Chloe. Carrie says that she "loves the interaction with people and animals. I love the people who work here; we're like a close family".

Fun Facts

- Many cats are unable to digest cow's milk - it gives them diarrhea

- The Sphynx cat came into existence in 1966. It is a hairless breed.

- The study of ants is called Myrmecology

- Sea turtles cry. The green sea turtle lives in the salty ocean, and gets rid of excess salt from its body by way of its eyes, the form of very salty tears.

- A female cat can begin mating when she is between 5 and nine months old.
