Meet The Staff -> Tricia

Tricia is the Managerial Assistant at Village Vet. She owns a pit bull/mastiff, Sheba, and countless prairie dogs. She performs prairie dogs rescues throughout Oklahoma and Texas, and then rehabilitates them. Tricia is also a licensed animal cruelty investigator.

Tricia is affiliated with N.O.A.H. Animal Rescue, helping place rescue or shelter animals in loving, permanent homes. Tricia is also a licensed rehabilitator of wildlife, taking in orphaned and found bunnies, squirrels, and birds, nurturing and caring for them until they are ready to return to the wild.

Fun Facts

- Some aquatic turtles, such as the snapping turtle and soft shelled turtles, have eyes that let them easily look up. They can sit on the bottom under the water and look up for predators or food sources swimming by.

- Kiwis are the only bird that hunts by smell.

- Toto the dog was paid $125 per week for his work in the Wizard of Oz.

- Dogs have about a hundred different facial expressions, most of them made using their ears

- Woodpeckers don't get headaches from all that pecking. Their skulls have air pockets to cushion the brain
